SummaryThe Addictions/Counselor Technician is responsible for assisting in the provision of physical care, counseling and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. The position will report to the Unit Manager and all counseling activities will be supervised by the clinical Supervisor.
QualificationsOther information:
An Associate Degree in a human service are or higher.
A high school diploma or General Education Development (GED) equivalent.
1 year of clinical experience in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting.
or
High School Diploma or GED. Experience as a Psychiatric Technician or Patient Care Technician or 1 year of clinical experience in a health or human service agency, preferably in a drug and alcohol setting.
