Dr. Victoria Kyalo, the Agriculture Chief Officer, emphasized the importance of integrity and strong relationships between farmers and off-takers. She stressed that these connections are vital to ensuring farmers receive fair compensation for their produce.
Eunice Ngina, CEO of East Africa Market Development Associates, echoed this sentiment, advocating for a mutually beneficial market model. She proposed that predictable standards, trust, and improved coordination between farmers and buyers are essential for both parties' growth and success.
